I’m a storyteller, truth-teller, and unapologetic mess-maker who’s learned that owning your story is the first step to owning your power. With a dash of humor and a whole lot of heart, I’m here to share the ups, downs, and downright messy moments that make life beautifully real. Ready to dive in? Let’s get real together.

Who I Am

I’ve always believed that the messiest chapters of our lives often become the most powerful stories we can tell. My journey hasn’t been a straight line — it’s been more like alphabet soup, complete with bold letters, crossed-out drafts, and the occasional plot twist that belonged in a romantic comedy… or a tragedy (depending on the day).

I’m a psychology graduate, a writer, and the person my friends, coworkers, and family call when they need relationship advice — partly because I’ve lived it, and partly because I tell it like it is (with a little humor to soften the blow).

The Turning Point

I married my first husband young and spent many years navigating love, loss, and rebuilding. After his passing, I discovered something profound: love doesn’t stop at heartbreak, and neither does growth. Eventually, I found my “perfect letter match” — my husband of over 16 years, Robert. Along the way, I learned that compatibility isn’t just chemistry; sometimes it’s written in the alphabet.

Why I Write

My book Stop Dating the Wrong Letters was born out of both experience and curiosity. I started noticing hilarious (and sometimes eerily accurate) patterns between last names and compatibility. The more I researched and shared my stories, the more people laughed, nodded, and said, “Oh my gosh, that explains everything.”

Now, I’m on a mission to help people “own their story” — to see that every wrong turn, bad date, or heartbreak is just a draft, not the final copy. Your story is yours to tell… and yes, you get to edit it.

Own Your Sh*t

“Own Your Story / Own Your Sh*t” isn’t just a tagline. It’s a reminder that the raw, unfiltered parts of your life don’t have to stay hidden. They can become the most empowering chapters you’ll ever write.
