LOUISE’S LOVE LETTER

EDITION 07:

Dear Past Me… We Need to Talk 💜

A love note to your past self… and a gentle reminder to make better choices.

Hey Friend:

You know how sometimes we look back at an old relationship, a past “situationship,” or an old late-night text thread… and think:

“Oh, sweetie… we really didn’t need to go through that.”

That’s the vibe of this week’s blog post.

This week, we’re writing a love letter to the version of you who deserved better, settled for less, and was doing her absolute best with the information she had.

And we’re doing it with compassion, humor, and no judgment — because that’s how we break patterns without shaming ourselves for ever having them.

✨ This Week on the Blog

Dear Past Me: Stop Texting Him Back

If your heart has ever made your thumbs do something your brain would never approve of, or if you’ve ever stared at your phone as if it held the secrets of the universe, waiting for a man to finally make sense... this one’s for you.

We’re talking about:

  • Emotional deja vu (aka dating the same pattern in a different hoodie)

  • Why “just one more text” rarely leads to clarity

  • What healed-you wishes unhealed-you had known.

  • How to rewrite your letter patterns with compassion, not criticism

It’s tender, honest, and a little funny — just like healing usually is.

🪩 A Tiny Truth for Today

Here’s the thing no one tells you:

If you have to read the message three times, it’s not your eyes — it’s your intuition flashing a neon sign.

Mixed signals are just “no” written in cursive.
Your nervous system knows before you do.
And your patterns speak louder than any apology ever will.

This week, permit yourself to believe the first draft of reality — not the revised version you created to protect your feelings.

 🧩 QUIZ OF THE WEEK

Are You Texting for Connection… or Closure You’ll Never Get?

Answer honestly — Past You and Future You are both watching. 😉

1. When he takes 6 hours to reply, your first instinct is:
A. “He’s busy.”
B. “I should double-text.”
C. “Is this even my letter group?”

2. Be honest — how many times did you re-read the last message you sent?
A. Once
B. More than once
C. …Enough times to qualify for continuing education credit

3. If the conversation suddenly goes flat, do you:
A. Let it die a natural, peaceful death
B. Send a meme
C. Write an emotional dissertation he won’t read

4. Which statement feels uncomfortably accurate?
A. “I like consistency.”
B. “I like chaos dressed as chemistry.”
C. “I like attention dressed as compatibility.”

RESULTS:
Mostly A’s: You seek connection — healthy, grounded, A-E type connection. Keep going.
Mostly B’s: You want reassurance more than romance—time to check your needs, not your notifications.
Mostly C’s: Oh sweetheart… Future You is already hugging you. Let’s stop texting the wrong letters back.

✍🏾From the Author’s Desk

I wrote this week’s blog post because I remember what it felt like to be stuck between:

  • who I was becoming
    and

  • who I kept texting out of habit.

Sometimes, healing means closing the Messages app and opening your journal instead.

Sometimes, it’s choosing peace over the emotional roller coaster of unanswered texts and mixed signals.
And sometimes, it’s simply saying, "Dear Past Me… we’ve grown.”

And that growth — your growth — is why the universe of the Alphabet Theory exists.
